Guwahati News Desk: Due to heavy rainfall water in Guwahati blockage was seen in the bylanes of Sati Jaymoti Nagar in Goshala of Maligon.
The residence of the area was facing water logging problem due to unavailability of proper drainage system and unplanned urbanisation.
As the people are facing the same everytime during monsoon which leads problems communication.
The Commissioner of Guwahati Municipal Corporation Devashish Sharma visited the water blockage area in Maligaon on Monday to take a review on it and instructed the concerned Executive Engineer of GMC to look into the matter and to take a quick solution.
Currently, the GMC administration has used motors pumping machine to open the blockage of the drain.
