Guwahati News Desk: On Tuesday night, a vehicle collided with a bolero pickup truck in front of the APSC office in Guwahati, injuring at least three persons.
According to reports, the driver of an i20 (As02W0435) and the driver of a Renault Duster were speeding at high speeds when the i20 automobile collided with a milk-carrying Bolero pickup truck (As01KC9001). Three persons were seriously injured, one of which was identified as Vijay Singh, the driver of the bolero pickup truck, and the other two were passengers in the i20 car.
The i20 was entirely wrecked, according to police reports. The critically injured youngster was rescued by the Renault Duster driver and sent to the hospital. The police arrived on the scene shortly after the collision and began an investigation.
In another similar horrific accident, at least seven people were killed and nine others were injured in separate accidents in the Baihata Chariali area. An ambulance collided with a tempo which resulted in the death of four and injuring eight others.
Two of the victims were dead on spot while the other two died on their way to the hospital. On the other hand, a motorbike was hit by vehicle which again collided with another vehicle coming from the opposite side.
The mishap resulted in death of 3 people, hospitalizing one. Accidents in Assam sees a high toll in everyday basis. Reckless driving and breaking of laws has been on light since forever. Carelessness of netizens have been resulting in many innocent deaths on an everyday basis.
