Guwahati News Desk: The Central Bureau of Investigation have registered a case against the Chief Administration of North Eastern Frontier Railways.
The CBI have busted a racket on the allegations against the senior public officers of North Eastern Frontier Railways headquartered at Maligaon in Guwahati City for involving in corrupt practices with private contractors during the ongoing projects of railways.
A case has been registered against the senior railway officers including a Deputy Chief Engineer, Assistant Executive Engineer, Director and an employee of a private company based at Guwahati City including unknown staff under relevant sections of IPC and PC Act in charge of alleged bribery of one crore and also recoveries of huge cash during searches by CBI officials.
