Guwahati News Desk: Analyzing the low rates of daily COVID-19 cases, the Delhi government has announced that all cinema halls, theatres, multiplexes are allowed to reopen with 100 per cent seating capacity from November 1 onwards.
The directions were issued in an order released by the Delhi government on Friday.
In addition, the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) also said that Chhath Puja celebrations will be allowed at designated sites in the city except for the banks of the Yamuna river.
The DDMA order said, “The celebration of Chhath Pooja during the month of November shall be allowed only at designated sites outside containment zones with requisite permission from the district magistrate. No site shall be designated on the bank of river Yamuna.”
The approval by DDMA for the celebration of Chhath Puja in Delhi was given on Tuesday.
Moreover, the authority added that the designated sites shall be identified and managed by the respective district magistrate in coordination with concerned departments agencies.
