Guwahati News Desk: The district administration of Kamrup Metro has declared the Office of the Superintendent of Police, Chief Minister’s Special Vigilance Cell in Swantantra Senari Bhawan at Rupnagar in Guwahati City was declared as Micro Containment Zone of Thursday.
Micro Containment Zone was declared after the detention of 11 COVID-19 positive cases. According to the sources, the containment zone was declared for the next seven after detention of 11 staff of the Superintendent Office tested positive for COVID-19.
The district administration of Kamrup Metro notified the boundary of the containment zone as ASTC workshop in the North, GMC Road in the South, Srimantapur Road in the East and Rupnagar Main Road in the West.
The administration has banned all unauthorized entry and exit into the containment zone for the next seven day.
