Guwahati News Desk: The Kamrup Metro District Administration has declared the Kamakhya Vidyalaya High School of Guwahati as a micro-containment zone after detecting of new COVID-19 cases on Thursday.
According to the sources, the principal of the Kamakhya Vidyalaya High School have tested positive for COVID-19 and the area immediately declared as a micro containment zone by Kamrup Metro district administration.
The principal was currently admitted at the nearest private hospital in Guwahati. The administration has notified that the containment zone will be effective from October 28 till November 4. In between the days the school will be completely sanitized to prevent the spread of COVID-19 virus.
After detecting of the new COVID-19 cases all the teachers of the school had undergone mandatory COVID-19 test including the students.
