Guwahati News Desk: A horrifying incident was reported after a group of transgenders attacked a couple at Paltan Bazar in Guwahati City on Friday night.
According to the sources, the couple was from the Lakhimpur district. The attack video went viral on the internet where the woman was seen saying that the transgender was physically attacking. Later the couple looked for help from the Paltan Bazar police station.
The reason for the attack is not known yet as the incident took place suddenly while the couple was passing by the streets of Paltan Bazar at night.
After seeking help from the police, the situation came into control as they went away from the couple.
Earlier in March, the Supreme Court recognized transgender as the third gender in India which is mentioned by officials.
