Guwahati News Desk: At least three people died due to COVID-19 in Assam on Tuesday as 1,651 fresh COVID-19 positive cases were reported in the state in the last 24 hours.
The total coronavirus active cases increased to 7,685 with the positivity rate increase to 2.46 per cent.
Kamrup Metro alone reported 742 positive cases followed by Kamrup Rural and Dibrugarh with 90 cases, Sonitpur with 82.
Among the three dead, two were reported from Kamrup Metro.
