Guwahati News Desk: Election Commission has banned all public rallies and public meetings in West Bengal from 7 pm to 10 am beginning from Friday due to the increasing cases of COVID-19 in the state.
Public rallies regularly took place in the state due to the ongoing state elections as later EC has come to this point for the ban of public rallies as West Bengal reported new 6,910 COVID-19 positive cases which are reported to be the highest in the single day, announced by the Health Department.
