Guwahati News Desk: A CRPF jawan Bablu Rabha from Dudhnoi of Assam was killed in a Maoist attack in Chhattisgarh on Saturday.
At least 22 security personnel were killed, 32 injured and one jawan was missing during a four-hour-long encounter with Maoist near Jonaduga village on Saturday afternoon.
Over 2000 security personnel was deployed in the area where a major operation was launched from Bijapur and Sukma districts in the South Bastar forests.
Chief Minister of Assam Sarbananda Sonowal extended his condolences to Bablu Rabha of Dudhnoi and other CRPF jawan who lost their life fighting bravely against the Maoists in Chattisgarh.
