Guwahati News Desk: The Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA) has issued a revised SOP on Wednesday for both rural and urban areas which were enforced from September 1.
Here are the detailed SOP salientâs features that are allowed as Assam cases restrictions further as COVID situation shows improvement.
1. The night curfew was extended from 7 pm to 9 pm which was to continue till 5 am the next day across the State.
2. The entire public and private establishment will function as per usual working hours but not beyond 8 pm.
3. All the business, commercial establishments, dine in restaurants, hotels, resorts, dhabas including other catering, take away of food items from restaurants, dhabas, and other eateries, the opening of sale counters, showrooms, etc of cold storages and warehouses, shops dealing with meat, groceries, vegetables, fruits, dairy and milk booths to remain open till 8 pm across the State.
4. At least single vaccinated people were allowed in the pillion riding on motorcycles and mandatory using of the mask.
5. Inter-district and Intra-district passengers transport with 100 per cent seating capacity shall be allowed for passengers having at least a single dose of vaccine. No standing of passengers will be allowed as a heavy fine to be imposed for the standing passengers and the license of the driver and registration of the vehicles carrying standing passengers will be canceled.
6. The physical classes for the postgraduate, graduate, higher secondary final year, GNM/Nursing courses, and that of a technical institution shall be allowed for students having at least a single COVID-19 dose vaccine. Before the State of physical classes, there will be a three-day vaccination drive for students, faculty, and staff.
7. The hostels of the educational institutions are allowed to open only for the postgraduate, graduate, and higher secondary final year students with fully vaccinated residents.
8. Meeting or gathering at any open or close spaces is allowed up to 50 single-dose vaccinated persons with prior intimation to local police. However, with the prior permission of jurisdictional DC for maximum gathering up to 200 persons at least single vaccinated many be allowed both for public and private functions which will also be applicable for the closed subject to ceiling 50 per cent of the hall capacity.
9. Public gathering is allowed up to 50 single vaccinated persons for marriage, funeral, or last rites.
10. Religious places are allowed to open with up to 40 single vaccinated persons per hour for iconic places and 50 single vaccinated persons per hour for other religious places.
11. Cinema and theatre halls shall continue to remain closed till the next review.
Other restrictions of declaration of containment zones etc, and exemptions as notified in the order of August 17 shall continue to remain in force except those specifically modified by this order.
