Guwahati News Desk: Delhi chief minister, Arvind Kejriwal today joined the Punjab AAP’s protest organised at Jantar Mantar demanding a rollback of the three farm laws enacted by the centre.
Kejriwal claimed that BJP broke the promise of enacting the Swaminathan Commission.
The three laws are- Farmer’s (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement of Price Assurance and Farm Service Act, 2020; Farmers Produce Trade and Commerce (Protection and Facilitation) Act, 2020 and The Essential Commodities (Ammendment) Act 2020. These act came to effect from September 27 with President Ram Nath Kovind’s approval.
