Sukalpa Dhar: Butter cake (with egg) is a very delicious and attractive desert. The recipe of plane cake is as follows :
INGREDIENTS:
Egg – 4
Sugar – 1 cup
Butter – 100 g
Maida – 1 ½ cup
Baking Powder – 1 ½ tsp
Vanilla Essence – 1 tsp
Raisin – 15 to 20
METHOD:
STEP 1: First separate the egg whites and egg yolks into two different bowls
STEP 2: Beat the egg whites until it gets foamy or frothy
STEP 3: Beat the egg yolks too
STEP 4: Now add grinded sugar in the egg whites and egg yolks together and mix it well and keep it aside for some time
STEP 5: Now add the butter with the mixture and mix it well
STEP 6: Mix baking powder with maida very well with the help of a sieve 3 to 4 times
STEP 7: Now add this maida mixed with baking powder in the mixture
STEP 8: Add vanilla essence and raisins or dates
STEP 9: Take a mould, brush it with butter and sprinkle a little flour
STEP 10: Pour the cake mixture into the mould and place it in a pre heated kadai and cover it.
STEP 1 : Place the kadai on a gas oven keep it in high flame and then simmer it
STEP 12: Bake it for 50 minutes to 55 minutes
STEP 13: Then your cake is ready. Enjoy this homemade cake with a nice cup of Darjeeling tea.
