Guwahati News Desk: Bilasipara Police Station caught and seized machines used for illegal sand mining from Gaurang river at Kathaldi in Dhubri district on Sunday.
On the other hand, Chapar Police Station detected unauthorized sand and stone near NH 31 at Rowmari and also seized tractor used for illegal transporting of sand in the district. An FIR was registered against the group and the case is handed over to the Forest department for lawful and further actions.
