Guwahati News Desk: Election Commission of India issued an order notification for the removal of West Bengal DGP, Virendra with immediate effect.
It appoints P Nirajnayan as the new DG and IGP.
Election Commission also directs the Chief Secretary of the State that Virendra should not be provided with any post directly or indirectly related to the conduct of the election.
