Guwahati News Desk: Rajya Sabha election for 11 Uttar Pradesh seats and one in Uttarakhand is set for November 9 as decided by poll panel on Tuesday.
The notification for the elections will be issued on October 20.
The 10 members from UP those are retiring on Nov 25 are Union minister Hardeep Singh Puri, Arun Singh and Neeraj Shekhar (BJP), Chandrapal Singh Yadav, Ram Gopal Yadav, Ram Prakash Verma and Javed Ali Khan (SP), Rajaram and Veer Singh (BSP), and Panna Lal Punia (Cong).
Whereas, from Uttarakhand actor-politician Raj Babbar’s (Cong) term as RS member will also end on the same date.
