Guwahati News Desk: Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma on Wednesday announced to name the new engineering college set up at Bihali after Chabilal Upadhyay, the great Gorkha freedom fighter.
The Higher Education (Technical) Department has issued the order.
Dr Sarma tweeted that, “I’m so very happy to share that the engineering college coming up at Bihali is being named as Chabilal Upadhyay Engineering College, Bihali with immediate effect. The Higher Education (Technical) Dept has issued an order to this effect on October 13, 2020”.
