Guwahati News Desk: On the occasion of 71st Constitution Day of India thousand of farmers from Punjab and Haryana took out a major protest towards the national capital city on Thursday.
The protest took place against the three major Central Farm Laws with a slogan of ‘Dilli Chalo’.
BJP led government in Haryana have seized all the borders towards the national capital and nearby areas of Punjab linked with Dehli we’re blocked by the administration to put a brake on the protest.
Delhi Police earlier has announced the organization that took out the massive protest must not enter Delhi.
Section 144 also imposed on the border areas towards the national capital to control the hard protest lead by the farmers.
Additional security officials were put in the border area to stop the people entering from both the States as police officials use water cannon and tear gas to the farmers from Punjab heading towards the national capital.
The Delhi-Karnal highway was blocked in the protest as farmers tried to break down the barricades blocked by the police officials to move towards Delhi.
