Guwahati News Desk: An FIR has been filed against the AIUDF Chief Badruddin Ajmal by Oitijya Suraksha Samiti on Thursday for disrespecting the Assamese ‘gamocha’ during a public rally for the ongoing Assam Assembly Elections.
The FIR was registered at Tezpur Police Station against the AIUDF chief Badruddin Ajmal for disrespecting the symbol of the state.
The disrespect of the ‘gamocha‘ went viral on social media which leads a controversy against Ajmal in the State.
The State Finance Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma also said the strict action must need to take against the other person who felicitates Ajmal with ‘gamocha’.
