Guwahati News Desk: The Pollution Control Board (PCB) of Assam has made an announcement on banned of brusting and sale of all kinds of crackers in the State in the upcoming Diwali festival.
In the notification of Pollution Control Board (PCB) of Assam only green ones was not banned in the Diwali festival.
According to the sources, the Chairman of PCB has directed all the Deputy Commissioners and Superintendents of Police to implement the order as directed by the administration of pollution control.
The Pollution Control Board also advised the officials to stop sale of firecrackers and to arrest the people not following the rules.
According to the sources, people were allowed to brust green crackers for two-hours periods in Diwali in the State.
