Guwahati News Desk: Looking at the situation amid the rising COVID-19 cases across the State, the Gauhati University has announced to postpone all the Under Graduate and Post Graduates examinations to date.
The postponement of the exam is for both the university and its affiliated colleges as the administration of GU has announced that all the offline examinations to take place after 20 days prior to notification after the COVID-19 situation turns normal across the State.
The administration urges its students to get in touch with the official website for further notification related to the examination and also urges them to prepare during these holidays.
The decision was taken during a meeting lead by Gauhati University Vice-Chancellor Professor Pratap Jyoti Handique with the president and the general secretaries of the university. During the meeting, the Controller of Examination and Registrar was also present.
