Guwahati News Desk: Assistant Professor of Gauhati University has been suspended for allegedly sexually harassing student on Wednesday.
According to the sources, Amit Pandey an assistant professor from Hindi Department was suspended with immediate effect for allegedly molesting a student in University.
After the allegedly sexual harassment was reported in the university the Post Graduate Students Association has submitted a memorandum to the Vice Chancellor of the Gauhati University to put an inquiry on the incident and punish the accused.
According to the sources, the assistant professor sexually assaults students through Whats App and Facebook with obscene messages.
