Guwahati News Desk: The Guwahati Municipal Corporation inaugurated a New Portal of it’s employee organised at Automated Multilevel Car Parking of Guwahati Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) near Mohendra Mohan Hospital at Panbazar on Monday.
The GMC has collaborated with the telecom centre Vodafone Idea (Vi) for pertaining to safety, security and welfare of it’s employees.
During the ceremony, GMC employees were provided free Vodafone Idea sim cards which will help GMC to ensure safety of field staff as well as enhance efficiency of day-to-day cleaning operation.
The ceremony was inaugurated and thdcsim were handed over to the employees of GMC by the Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma.
During the ceremony, Urban Affairs Minister Ashok Singhal, MP Queen Oja and other senior officials of GMC we’re present.
The Geotagged, Geo-fenced Vi mobility sim cards were handed over to the GMC staff which to provide the corporation 24×7 window into field staff operation of Guwahati through real-time notifications and alerts.
The collaboration was made for the safety of the GMC staff who were working in the field which to enhance efficiency of operations, ensure security and safety of field staff.
