Ishita Bora: Assamese horror short-film ‘Ghorapak’ has started its shooting from today in Sahan Village, near Baraghoria Barogopal Than, Nalbari.
The team is excited as well as thankful to work on this project.
In conversation with Hello Guwahati, cinematographer Chiranjit Ramchiary said:
“First of all thanks to Chinmoy Barma for making me a part of this film. I feel good to be a part of this film but this time, I’m going to work on a project based on our childhood memories when we used to listen to all the folklores. Also, I’m very happy and excited to work here because I will get to relive my childhood moments with this film. I believe that if the audience loves our film and relives their childhood days at least for once, then I think we will be successful in making this film.”
As per the report, the lead actor has been selected. His name is Bipin Kalita, a theatre artist and a Science teacher. Also, the lead actress has been changed due to some personal issues. Now, Nibedita Kalita will play the lead role.
She worked in the recent successful feature film named “Fireflies.”
While asking about the film, director Chinmoy Barma said:
“This will be the best film I have ever seen in Assamese short film history in this genre. So, let’s keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best.”
We wish the team good wishes for their successful outcome.
