Guwahati News Desk: A man allegedly molested a girl in daylight at Rukmini Nagar in Guwahati on Friday.
The incident took place when a man stopped the girl and asked route of Sinaki Path and later groped her breasts.
Soon after the incident, the girl threw his scooter in the drain as he was about to escape from the spot but she courageously nabbed him.
Meanwhile, few passerby came to help her and handed over the man to the Dispur Police. The accused also refused to show his face as he was wearing a mask and helmet.
The accused was identified as Madhusana Rajkumar from the Cachar district. An FIR has been registered against him under sections 354/365/511 of the Indian Panel Code (IPC).
