Guwahati News Desk: The Guwahati Municipal Corporation has been working day and night in making the city clean and green as the organization has appreciated all their workers who came out daily across the city for cleaning.
Cleaning the city is a part of Swachh Survekshan 2021, which will help the city to remain clean.
The Swachh Survekshan is an annual survey of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation in cities across the nation. It was launched as a part of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan which aims to make India clean.
It is said to be the largest survey in the nation as it covers 4242 cities and in the year 2016, it was first initiated and covers only 73 cities.
Now Guwahati City is a part of the largest cleanliness survey.
