Guwahati News Desk: The Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) has been carried out eviction drive against encroachment of public streets and pavements near Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) in Guwahati on Friday.
The eviction drive was conducted by Enforcement Branch of GMC team led by ACS Aditya Gogoi Collector of Enforcement Branch.
The eviction drive was conducted against the vendors and hawkers illegally running business and also occupying spaces on footpaths as well as road. Illegal business have been eliminated and evicted by the GMC Enforcement officials.
Due to illegal encroachers business footpath and roads of Guwahati used go get blocked and creates unnecessary traffic.
