Guwahati News Desk: The government of Assam has set up three Oxygen plants at Guwahati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) which will be needful for the critical COVID-19 patients.
Recently, State Health Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma has said that the government of Assam has set up 8 Oxygen plants across the State with the help of the Government of India.
The current three oxygen plants at GMCH are functional now.
GoA also financed an entrepreneur to resume work on the oxygen plant which is setting up at Samdrup Jongkhar district of Bhutan bordering at Baksa District of Assam which to be operated soon within 20-25 days.
