Guwahati News Desk: Due to the increasing cases of COVID-19 as the second wave of coronavirus hits the entire nation, shortage of oxygen has become the burning issue for COVID patients.
The government of Assam has made arrangements to import oxygen from its neighboring nation Bhutan, says State Health & Family Welfare Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
The government of Assam helped a Guwahati-based entrepreneur to resume work on the oxygen plant which is setting up at Samdrup Jongkhar district of Bhutan bordering at Baksa District of Assam.
The plant can easily export oxygen for the critical COVID patients as Assam Minister State for health Pijush Hazarika along with MP Biswajit Daimary visited the under-construction oxygen plant site on Monday morning.
