Guwahati News Desk: Government of Assam (GoA) to launch ‘Orunodoi’ scheme on December 1.
Under the scheme, over 18 lakh families of the state were enrolled who will receive an amount of Rs 830 per month.
The amount will be transferred to their bank account under the scheme by GoA.
The scheme is one of the biggest in Assam post-independence as the government to increase the coverage to 30 lakh families.
The scheme will roll out in 29 districts with 18.20 lakh families and will be implemented in the four districts of Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC).
