Guwahati News Desk: Hotel Maple Leaf in North Lakhimpur has been sealed by the district administration after a guest tested positive on Monday.
The guest reportedly conducted a COVID test in New Delhi before his departure to Assam and the test report reached North Lakhimpur Medical College Hospital.
Meanwhile, another guest travelling from outside the state too tested positive in the hotel.
Due to the surge in Coronavirus cases in Assam, the Lakhimpur district administration has made the Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) mandatory for travellers arriving at Lilabari airport.
