Guwahati News Desk: The Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International (LGBI) Airport of Guwahati City was officially handed over to Adani Group on Friday.
The Airport Authority of India (AAI) handed over the operations, managements and development responsibilities to Adani Group.
The agreement between the AAI and Adani Enterprise Limited was signed on this year in the national capital.
Starting from Friday onwards all the operations, management and development responsibilities of Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport of Guwahati City will be handled by the new airport operator by Adani Guwahati International Airport Limited (AGIAL).
On Friday, the officials of LGBI Airport has shared the beginning with blessings of the almighty as Guwahati Airport is now official declared as ‘Gateway to Goodness’.
The officials of airport welcomed all the passengers visiting the airport to joyous journey from the Gateway to the Northeast.
