Guwahati News Desk: Chief Minister of Assam instructed the Public Works Department (PWD) and other officials to complete the ongoing work of Guwahati-North Guwahati Bridge by March 2023.
The 1.24 km six lane bridge having with a total cost of the bridge is Rs 2608 crore as earlier the bridge was laid stone by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in February 2019. The bridge to start from Bharalumukh in Guwahati.
On the other hand, CM Sarma also raised the alignment of proposed Palasbari-Sualkuchi bridge was decided with the PWD and other officials.
The route of the bridge will be go towards the New Airport Road starting from Dharapur Charali as the bridge might to start from the river bank road of Palasbari which was newly constructed.
CM Sarma ordered officials to complete all the roads and bridges projects timely under Asom Mala Project.
