Guwahati News Desk: Three illegal band saw mills have been shut down by Kamrup West Forest Division at Champupara in Kamrup rural district on Wednesday.
The mills were shut down and all the machines were seized by the officials.
The operation was led by the Divisional Forest Officer of Kamrup West and his personnel.
Another raid was carried by the Forest Range Officer of Hajo and the protection squad personnel as one illegal saw mill was seized with machines at Kalitakuchi Chowk in Hajo.
