Guwahati News Desk: A youth from Guwahati Shaan Hussain Deka shares a helping hand to the roadside vendors by booking online slots for vaccination in Guwahati.
Shaan helped out many vegetables, fish and meat vendors including shopkeepers of Chandmari and nearby places in booking a vaccination slot.
Shaan Hussain Deka in conversation with Hello Guwahati says, “I find out many vegetables, fish, meat vendors were seen can’t able to book a vaccine slot as a huge rush was seen. Some of the vendors are unaware of a booking slot and even some of them do not have a smartphone to operate the booking application”.
“The day online booking of the vaccine has started in the State a huge rush was seen online for booking as many people have failed to get an online slot as for the roadside vendors it’s a big task. Vaccination for the vendors is very much important as they deals with more than 100 customers every day”, Shaan added.
Shaan also added as during the curfews nothing much important work left to do so I came to help out people in booking an online slot for my family, friends and outsiders.
During the curfew days, Shaan has booked more than 150 vaccination slots.
The initiative was taken as most of the poor people doesn’t have an android phone as for humanity. Shaan has taken the fruitful step as India has launched the Largest Vaccination Drive across the nation under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
