Guwahati News Desk: The Assam Police have issued high alert in the State after receiving intelligence input that Pakistan’s spy agency named Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) is planning to carry out a big terror attack in Assam and other places in the country.
According to India Today TV which accessed the copy of the Assam Police circular issued by the Assistant Inspector General of Police of Assam Police headquater as ISI attackers might targets RSS cadres, army areas, mass gathering, and religious places.
According to the sources, the revenge attack will be carried out against the eviction drive of Muslims in Garikhuti area near Sipajhar of Darrang district.
Popular Journalist of News Live Nandan Pratim Sharma Bordoloi tweeted, “#BreakingNews Plans for deadly bombings of ISI and Al-Qaida in Assam. The revenge-attack will be carried out against the eviction drive of Muslims in Garukhuti near Sipajhar of Darrang. Passenger buses, public places, RSS cadres and Indian Army’s camp will be targeted.”
The Commissioner of Police of Guwahati City including all districts police, Special DGP (T&AP) and IP(BTAD), Kokrajhar, ADGP’s (SB/S) Assam and all DIG’s of ranges were asked to take all necessary prevention and measures to prevent the terrorist activity.
