Guwahati News Desk: Indian sprinter Hima Das have tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday.
Hima was diagnosed with COVID-19 at the National Institute of Sports (NIS) at Patiala in Punjab.
Currently, Hima popularly known as
Dhing Express is undergoing her training at the SAI Academy in Patiala.
Hima was preparing for upcoming Asian Games and Commonwealth Games.
The athlete tweeted, “I would like to inform everyone that I have been tested positive for Covid-19. I am stable and at the moment in isolation. I look forward to utilising this time to recover and come back stronger than before. A gentle reminder for everyone to stay safe and wear mask.”
