Bhaswati Das: During summer days it’s very hard to get relief so we came up with the flavour of easy making of Chocobar ice cream at home.
For Ice-cream:
1. 1½ cup thickened cream.
2. ¼ cup powdered sugar (if you don’t have powdered sugar then grind the regular sugar in the grinder).
3. 1 tbsp vanilla extract(optional).
4. ½ cup milk (chilled).
For Chocolate Coating:
1. 375 grams dark chocolate.
2. 1 tsp butter.
Method:
1. Firstly, in a large bowl take 1½ cup thickened cream.
2. Add ¼ cup powdered sugar and beat or whisk for a minute or till stiff peaks appear.
3. Further add 1 tbsp vanilla extract and ½ cup chilled milk.
4. Give a mix making sure everything is combined well.
5. Mix well and check for thick and creamy texture.
6. Transfer the prepared mixture into popsicle moulds.
7. Cover with the lid and freeze for 8 hours or till it sets completely.
8. Now prepare the double boiling method by keeping a large vessel with some water. later place a large bowl, making sure it doesn’t touch the water.
9. Add in 375 grams dark chocolate along with 1 tsp butter.
10. Keep mixing till the mixture turns smooth and silky.
11. Transfer the chocolate sauce into tall glass and allow to cool slightly.
12. Further, take the prepared popsicles and remove slowly. dip the popsicle in hot water for 10 seconds, to easily remove.
13. Later, dip the ice cream into prepared chocolate sauce coating uniformly.
14. Finally, Chocobar ice-cream is ready to serve.
