Guwahati News Desk: The Assam Rifles troops intercepted and recovered smuggled timber near Shangshak at Ukhrul district in Manipur on Tuesday.
The seized timber is worth Rs 96 lakh as it was handed over to the concerned department.
One arrested with the vehicles carrying illegal timber and a case has been registered for carrying and smuggling of timber.
