Guwahati News Desk: A journalist of local satellite channel Parag Bhuyan died in an accident at Kakopathar on Wednesday night. A commercial vehicle having registration number AS-23BC-7881 hit the journalist in front of his home.
After the incident, he was immediately admitted to Aditya Nursing Home in Dibrugarh as he received several injuries and later died while undergoing treatment.
The vehicle was immediately seized by Tinsukia police, the driver identified as James Murah and Baba Bordoloi were arrested.
