Guwahati News Desk: The cultural institution Shrimanta Shankardeva Kalakshetra situated in Panjabari to reopen today nearly after seven months. The museum will follow all the COVID-19 protocols as wearing masks, using sanitizer, and maintaining physical distance is made mandatory inside the arena for the visitors.
Kalakshetra is one of the popular tourist attractions in Guwahati City which highlights the Assamese culture, heritage, and tradition.
According to the sources, a new website of Shrimanta Shankardeva Kalakshetra will be launched by the Chief Minister of Assam Sarbananda Sonowal. Earlier in March, due to increasing cases of COVID-19, the cultural institutions were immediately shut during the nationwide lockdown announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
