Kamakhya Temple closed down for devotees: Devalaya authorities

Guwahati News Desk: The Kamakhya Temple of Guwahati to be closed for devotees from today amid rising cases of COVID-19 across the State.

The announcement was made by the devalaya administration by issuing a notification that the temple to remain close for the next 15 days.

Other temples like Bhubaneswari Temple, Bagala Mandir of Nilachal hills also remain close from today.

The decision was made by the authorities to bring control on the rising cases of coronavirus infection which were increasing rapidly.
