Guwahati News Desk: Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi has directed its administration to set up 1,50,000 units of Oxycare System with an estimated cost of Rs 322.5 crore.
The fund to set up Oxycare System across the nation was procured through PM Cares Fund.
The announcement was made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday as the comprehensive system will be developed by DRDO to regulate oxygen being administrated to patients.
DRDO has transferred the technology to multiple industries in India to produce Oxycare System to cure COVID-19 patients across the nation as the need for oxygen is rising day by day.
The Oxycare System will reduce the workload and exposure of healthcare providers by eliminating the need for routine measurement and manual adjustment of oxygen flow.
