Guwahati News Desk: Chief Minister of Assam Sarbananda Sonowal and Education Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma on Saturday distributed Abhinandan formal loan sanctions letters among students at Numali Jalah Parade Ground at Amingaon in Guwahati.
The loan letters were distributed among 6052 students so far as the minimum sanctioned loan amount is Rs 1 lakh.
Under the scheme, students can avail loans from any Scheduled Commercial or Co-operative Banks in Assam. The benefits will be available to all permanent residents of Assam.
