Guwahati News Desk: Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports have sanctions budget of Rs 7.96 crore to States Sports Academy of Sarusajai in Guwahati on Saturday.
Sports Ministry has sanctioned a total budget of Rs 67.32 crore as financial support to six Khelo India State Centres of Excellence for a period of four years.
Apart from Assam, Meghalaya, Daman & Diu, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Sikkim includes in the budget.
According to the sources, Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Shri Kiren Rijiju said “Khelo India State Centres of Excellence is a vision for next step in making India among the top 10 nations in Olympics 2028.”
