Guwahati News Desk: The Chief Minister of Assam Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma directed its administration to take immeidate initiative to convert Madrassa to general schools across the State.
The BJP led government has brought a new law where all the Madrassas run by government will be converted into upper primary, high school and higher secondary school in the coming days.
Regarding the initiative the CM holds a review meeting with the Education Minister Ranoj Pegu and Finance Minister Ajanta Neog and its officials.
The government of Assam is working as like before to deliver quality education to the students in a wholesome manner as the State’s education system was the top most priority for the upliftment of the education sector.
