Guwahati News Desk: A massive earthquake measuring 6.0 magnitude hits Assam on Wednesday morning destroying many buildings and apartments in Guwahati City.
For Rajdhani Apartment of Ganeshguri, the quake was like an end of life as block B of the apartment have seen some serious damages as the building was constructed in the year 2000.
The residence on the top floor was rushed immediately into the open space for nearly 45 minutes.
The ground floor of the apartment had experienced a lot of cracks in several walls and even in staircases.
Damages were also witnessed at Taj Vivanta hotel as the water tank was broken in the quake and later got leaked.
The market building in Chowk Bazar in Tezpur town received some serious damages during the earthquake.
