Guwahati News Desk: Mizoram has captured three houses at Sutbhubirband of Ratatbari in Karimganj district near Assam-Mizoram border on Friday.

According to the sources, three houses of Assamese people have been occupied and removed the owners in the border area.

This incident has created tension in the border village among the people as around 200 Mizoram Police were deployed at the border.

According to the sources, the Rangpur Forest Beat area of Ratabari constituency in Karimganj district was occupied by the Mizo IR battalion.

On Thursday, the Government of Assam has issued a notification and urged the people of Assam not to travel to Mizoram due to a recent border clash as of now Assamese people are not safe there.

Looking at the video footage available with Assam Police, many people were heavily armed with automatic weapons.

After the recent clash of the Mizo Civil Society, students, and youth organizations are constantly issuing provocative statements against the State of Assam and its people.

During the clash on Monday, more than 67 civilians from Assam have been injured by the attack of Mizo on the border.

Meanwhile, the Assam Police has also announced a reward of Rs 5 lakh for any leads to the arrest of persons accountable for the barbaric killing of the police personnel.

The cases have been registered under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code, Arms Act, and Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act 1984 were registered by Assam Police on Tuesday.

According to the sources, the Assam Police has prepared a picture gallery of Mizoram Police and civilian miscreants who fired at Assam Police.

A case has been registered against Mizoram Police and civilians miscreants for killing six Assam Police personnel during the border clash at the Assam-Mizoram border at Lailapur in Cachar district on Monday.

According to the sources, it has alleged the active involvement of Rajya Sabha MP and Mizo National Front leader K Vanlalvena in the conspiracy.
