Guwahati News Desk: Maraini MLA Rupjyoti Kurmi quit Assam Congress as according to the reports, the Maraini MLA has completed all the final formalities before getting off from the party.
MLA Rupjyoti Kurmi says the reason for leaving is as Congress as High Command in Delhi and Guwahati leaders give priority to elderly leaders only.
It was also said Congress has a good chance of coming to power this time as we shouldn’t alliance with AIUDF which would be a mistake.
Rupjyoti Kurmi meets Assembly Speaker and tenders his resignation. It was also said the current leader of Congress Rahul Gandhi could not able to carry up the leadership.
