Guwahati News Desk: The Chief Minister of Assam Sarbananda Sonowal attended the MoU signing ceremony between Oil India
Limited (OIL) and Assam Hydrocarbon and Energy Company Limited (AHECL) in Guwahati on Monday.
The MoU will enable OIL to acquire a participating interest in the Namrup block OALP-I.
Assam has immense potential in the hydrocarbon sector.
CM Sarbananda Sonowal said that the MoU signed between OIL and AHECL will go a long way in giving a renewed push to Northeast Hydrocarbon Vision, 2030.
